HOLISTIC HEALING focuses on the physical, mental health and wellness, emotional well-being, and spiritual beliefs and values of those who practice it. The Holistic Healer looks at the “whole person” and gathers information about clients and based on his assessment will suggest treatments. Holistic Healing is not an “alternative” to conventional medical care and a part of Holistic Healing is the treatment of the physical body through such care.
TYPES OF THERAPIES
- AROMATHERAPY – Aromatherapy is the use of plant aromatics for the holistic healing of mind, body, and spirit.
- ACUPUNCTURE – The stimulation of anatomical points on the body by a variety of techniques. American practices of acupuncture incorporate medical traditions from China, Japan, Korea, and other countries. The acupuncture technique that has been most studied scientifically involves penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles that are manipulated by the hands or by electrical stimulation.
- HOMEOPATHY – Homeopathy is a path of treatment that will mimic the symptom of the sufferer to reinforce the person’s natural defenses to move forward toward restoring good health
Holistic Healing focuses on living a balanced life. Different healers have different areas in which they specialize so make sure you choose one that fits your needs
EM does not promote this type of therapy as a cure for every individual. Please consult your medical professional before beginning any new exercise or health routine to assess your ability to participate.
